| Good deer movement today. Rained last night and that made the woods super quiet this AM. Had a single doe come in 40 minutes after daybreak. Actually sniffed my tree steps and then fed off. 20 min after that I saw my target buck at 80yrds chasing the doe that was under my stand 20 min prior. Then around 8:15 I had two smaller does come in. It seems a bit early for chasing but this buck was definitely on her heels. Ill be back at it on Thursday AM. | |

| well my and rich set out tonight for some geese. was kinda slow till about 6:15 and had two come over are heads. they never locked up but i know they were in shooting distance . then we had another flock way out in the distance wich i was calling to never even seeing the big flock coming right in. rich thought they were the ones i was calling to.lol oops they caught me out there and flared. oh well lesson learned. never did see anymore but saw over 100 ducks. i know where i will be monay night after opening day. well thats it for me for goose untill migratory season opens. honkers won again. | |

| Steve I might have missed the "res" geese but like he said we have a good bead ( ) on wear the Woodies are hiding. Just wanted to say thanks to John, Steve, Chris, Bruce & Scott for taking me for early Geese. I had a blast and can only imagine what it's like when the birds really start moving during the "real" season... :hunting: | |

| Hey guys, So while making my sales calls threw (Pottstown, Reading & Allentown) Pa yesterday I saw a TON of Geese in the all the fresh cut corn fields. From the numbers I was seeing I don't think they where "Res" geese. I didn't see as many ducks on the ponds like I did the the other day up in north Jersey. :hunting: | |

No public, just farms. Sorry, I didn't have time to stop. I was so booked up with seeing accounts. Next time thru I will make sure to build in some time to make some stops and ask.

| Hit up Ringoes this afternoon with Scotty boy. We got there at 3pm and in the stands by 345pm. I hunted way in the back of the property. Just as i rounded the corner to walk the last 50 yards to the ladder, I saw a tail flicker. Damn 2 big does 20 yards behind my stand. I sat down behind a bush and waited.15mins later they moved on. I proceed to the stand, dumped some corn and climbed up. Got my camera set, hung my bow and glanced behind me. Now 2 small does feeding on acorns in the same spot. They never spooked and slowly walked away. I thought this is gonna be a great night. Well that was the last deer I saw while on stand. i did see a beautiful grey fox at 15 yards.
On the drive off the farm we saw a big does with 2 little ones in tow. Damn did it get foggy up there.
Mark my words Ringoes is gonna explode with deer once the acorns dry up and rut hits. I just hope Im there to see it happen.

| I was out yesterday the 3rd, and man was it hot. I was using the climber and it weighs 20+ pounds, link that with a pack a 20 pound feed block and 20 pound bag of corn and you get me as a big fat sweatty mess in the tree. Anyway the wind was perfect for this spot. check the trail cam and 81 pictures for the week. I thought cool. lots of activity. on the pictures were several does, a couple small bucks, one of which I might shoot.
Climbed up and got ready. I have come to the conclusion that I carry way too much crap into the woods. Only sightings were 4 turkeys, one of which was a huge tom, and a black squirrel. No deer but it was still great to get out.
