She' ready to go.

I am waiting for final approval for my dog Ella to be a wounded and downed deer tracking dog in Burlington county. I think she is ready. Tonight at about 8pm I laid a scent line using the leg of a deer and dragged it for about 300yards. I made 2 90 degree turns and then threw the leg about 15 yards into some chest high weeds from the last drag spot. I let the scent line sit for about 20 minutes and the we went outside and put the leash and collar on. All I needed to say was "find the buck" and off she went. She scented great and it took her about 3 to 4 minutes to find the leg and pick it up. I am pretty excited about this. So if she gets approved, just let me know if you need help with a recovery. thats awesome chuck. is she just approved in burlington? how about flemington or jackson?

I only requested Burlington county, but I will call and try to get the approval for Hunterdon and Ocean county. May not get Hunterdon I think there are a couple approved dogs up there already.
