Opening Day Results

Just wanted to find out how you northern folk did today. Joe and I went out in the turf farm in am and did not see or hear a goose, but went out in evening and haggled down 4. They need to extend shooting by 15 minutes, we had about 75 to a hundred fly over up to 15 minutes past shooting as we were packing up.

well i will tell you this.. it sucked whatchin the geese fly in to our spot flock after flock while we where retriving the bords and cleanin up.. but to sit there and hide in the grass and whatch that last batch just land and swim around was so cool while we snuck away.. the season should definatly be another 15 min to 30 min longer cause we could have had a field day

Great job to 5 that were knocked down in Jackson. I heard one was inanimate.

Oh yeah...blew the head of a deke too. :machinegun: not one BB hit the body thank god. Shot took out the goose and the decoy head :Ashamed:

John and Steve were both fined! They didn't get any footage. On the other hand, we have footage of the 3 birds Scott, Evan and I smacked! Brian, you need to come out with us. We had to of seen close to 100 birds yesterday morning. A couple flocks wanted nothing to do with us, and another flock with 21 birds landed to the right of us where we couldn't shoot cause of the road being that way!

thats why you need a non shooting camera man ... nobody asks me nothing ....i'll just go hunting all yr ALONE ..........have a nice rest of the yr guys

i already explained to you that i still have about 900 in fines i can still get away with.

i also want to bring up what a nice guy chris is. he takes evan with him for his first ever goose hunt and instead of trying to get the guy his first bird he puts him on camera, real nice chris.

What kind of soap opera is going on here.? I thought the only peole that argue like this are my wife and I. What you guys get a fine for?

Hetley and SQ2 got a fine by us for not getting their kills on video like we did! I'm just glad they got something and didn't get skunked!
