I can't wait to hit some ducks either. I've been seeing more and more ducks showing up in the ponds by me.

Hunted tonight and all i heard were wood ducks and geese. I think you need to hunt back there steve and you will get a wood duck for sure! Although, our spot in the flooded timber is pretty darn good too! I'm with John though when he says our new spot is gonna be killer :hunting:

that new spot will def. be killer. but not for 8 or 9 guys..lol later season its going to be really sick back there with tons of diff. species also

i know the feeling we where hunting a pond for geese the other night and at least 16 mallards came right in and landed and swam around our decoys... while we sat there for another half hour and some others flew over head boy i was so heated

Counted 36 ducks flying on Saturday and heard woodducks all morning in that spot, Chris. Should be a good spot.
