Quick Hunt!!!!!

So...Steve, Evan and I headed out to the farm tonight. We were planning on getting there early so I could hang a new ladder stand and hunt it tonight. We got there early like we planned. I was trying to figure out which tree to put the stand in, when Steve said "what about that one". I said to Steve, hold on, I will take a walk over there and check it out instead of driving the trucks over there. Well, as i walked to check out the stand I got to the tree and 15 yards away was a big doe. I snuck away from the tree and then ran to my truck. I told Steve and Evan there is a doe 15 yards from the tree. I grabbed my bow, and put on my release. I snuck back over there and didn't see her. So, I got a little closer and all I saw was her head move forward out into the opening. I got down to a knee, drew back and waited for her to clear some brush. As soon as she cleared, I had my 20 pin settled in on her shoulder. Released and WHACK. 50 yards away we found her down! Perfect double lung shot. I never made it into a stand tonight. Thanks Steve and Evan for going down into the thick stuff and helping me drag her out of that mess! You guys are true pals Quick Hunt!!!!! 313132

def. cool to see. i wish i was able to get the deer on video to but she was around the bend. congrats again man. now go shoot a big old buck so i can shoot the ones u been spotting on the farm..lol
