monday night duck hunt

Subject: monday night duck hunt Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:30 pm

well me rich,dubs ,and scott set out tonight for some ducks. we thought it was going to be a good day being we saw about 2 dozen ducks from 5 to 5:30. well that was it . walking back we saw a couple birds flying. quiting time is way to early. almost makes it not worth it to go at night. the regs suck.

Foot full of water (cause my waders sprung a leak)

can never hurt trying. saw lots flying while it was cloudy. seemed like as soon as the sun came out they disappeared.

besides im not really into deer. i mean dont get me wrong i love deer hunting,but as of right now im not that into it. once rut kicks in it will be a different story.

I think I may duck hunt the pond on Saturday morning if anyone wants in. Oh, and I'm really into deer now that I'm getting to see all the bucks that are actually in the area. One will make a mistake eventually!

I have to agree with the guys. It sucked that all the birds started flying again "after hours" and I agree with Steve that the reg need to be changed. But it's still fun to get out and enjoy the company and the outdoors. I think I agree with Chris and might just have to pony up early and try a morning hunt. Dubs, it was great meeting you as well. Look forward to going out again soon.

Dont get me wrong I love to go waterfowling. Being out with friends and family shooting the sh!t and maybe shooting some birds. BUT i would hunt deer over waterfowl anyday of the week and twice on Sunday, it just what I love to do. Saturday it's gonna be low 35 and Hi 50... thats deer hunting weather in my book. I will be in a tree hoping for the best. Rut is approaching and I wanna see it all unfold. Gotta be in it to win it.

chris im going in the am on saturday. but going down the end. then going to a spot that tends to hold some nice bucks in the pm

works brother. a blow dryer and letting it sit. thank god i dont have to buy another one. never again without a tripod

it went under but not to the bottom. no muck or mud on it wich is great. im def. sicked all cleaned up. re taped up and ready to go
