| Does anyone know, is it common for a buck to make a small scrape in front of a rub sometimes? I was hunting/scouting a new area recently and it is torn up with rubs. I also found a few scrapes. Then on some of the trails I saw a rub and what appeared to be a half-@ss scrape right in front it. Just curious. | |

| ive seen it many times before. im not so sure its an actual scrape but more like him kicking the leaves out of the way when he is tearing up the tree. it is possible though. either way sounds like a great area to hang a stand. goodluck to you and post pics when u nail him. | |

| Thanks Hetley, thinking about it now, it makes a lot of sense that maybe it is from him kicking out leaves while making the rub. And if I should be so fortunate as to get him, you better believe I'll be letting you know. | |
