| Well I went out Tuesday Evening and moved 300 yards into the woods where I have seen my deer coming from. Lot's of fresh rub's so found a tree near 6 trails and clumbed on up. Got up and settled in started looking around and below me were 9 differnet scrapes. Lot's of doe's coming thru but no buck's yet. Just glad to see deer again. Sat morning mo gilla will walk thru and get stuck I hope! Good luck to all. | |

| Finally put some meat in the freezer Sunday, was in NY for the opener. Not a trophy by most peoples standards, but definately one by mine and my fathers. The property we hunt there is the toughest place I have hunted to find deer and terrain-wise, but it is a family tradition to go there and we do every year. Last year the group of us there saw absolutely nothing over 5 days, and my trophy spike was the first deer shot up there in 5 years. He also had an underdeveloped bottom jaw so it may have been best to take him anyway. Next week me and the boys are off to PA, we got good bucks on the trail cams and hopefully I'll have a pic of one to share with you guys. Good Luck and Happy Hunting. And Happy Thanksgiving too, it is, after all, a hunters holiday. | |
