So remember our story yesterday about the Jewelry store hunt. Dad and I were talking this morning about last nights hunt and both agreed that it would be worth a look around in better light. If you recall we thought we had dropped 5 birds, but had only found 3. Well Dad "the bird dog" went back today and found another goose we had dropped back in the thick stuff. It had a broken wing and was still alive in the high weeds. Pop grabbed him, rung its neck, then flipped him over, and much to his delight found another band..... 4 birds 4 bands. We each had a double on bling. How is that for a rare occurance.
