Help. How do you get your wife to let you hunt Sundays

I should preface this by saying I have 5 kids under 9 and work a lot.

What do you do to be able to hunt? I need extra ideas.
Sunday hunting is a good thing but it will make for many many divorces lol.

i agree evan it will get lots of guys in trouble. i told my wife i would still spend sundays with her and hunt the mornings so im home by 10

I pretty much told my wife that I would hunt one day of the weekend. Im looking at sundays as a rain date for saturdays.

It's real easy to say just go , this is what I would do , I'll do what I want lalala and so forth.

Truth of the matter is do just what Steve did. Try to meet your wife half way. "ASK" her if she minded if you hunted the morning and or afternoon and you would be home the rest of the day. Maybe trade off with her like you get the Sunday and maybe she can go shopping Tuesday night or something alone with no kids.

I think the big picture is try to work with her and let her be part of it. With that I mean dont tell her you are doing soemthing let her decide what will work best for both of you. Life is 50 / 50 and you both need to meet each other half way.

Or do what I do and get on her nerves so bad she will beg you to get out of the house

Exactly Don. My wife tells me she likes when I go hunting cause she gets more done around the house.

Just gotta marry a girl like I have. She just said on the phone to one of her friends...."Well, I am pretty much free on the weekends. Since Sunday hunting is open now, I'm sure Chris will be hunting almost every Saturday and Sunday." It's all in the training guys. Do you guys need me to write a book so you can learn my techniques?

I hope not don...she's smarter then that anyway...I have to many weapons...a guy would have to be pretty damn dumb to try something like that....

sundays are family days for me i may get a few every now and then in otherwise monday through saturday im in

my solution is to take my wife hunting on sats for a bit then i get to hunt the rest of sat and sunday woooooooooooo

well, my Buddie cant have a dog right now, so he uses his boy to fetch the ducks. we even had him barking one day. but 5 kids is alot to take in the woods.


just tell her your going to church, he you are 20ft close to god

i got extra pants if you guys need them.....tell her your hunting both days its what you do what you love and if she cant except it move on and find a vegetarian

Exactly Fred...well said Some of these guys need to take their panties off and read our book!

Just do what i did and get a job where you work on the weekends....then there is no problems.....the only problem i have is finding somone to hunt during the week...

Mike, all you gotta do is call me when you wanna go! I go almost everyday after work during the early season. I get in stand by 5:15 and have a couple hours of hunting. Deer are usually coming out about an hour after I get in stand! Make sure you give me a ring this year

today I tucked it all in and bought my wife lunch and had it delivered and sent flowers with a note in it..
This week has been brutal.. with all the pre hunting prep getting home late she is NOT a happy camper.. I hope this will help smoth things out so she is happy and I can go hunting both days this weekend.

i dont really care if i go sunday or not i like spending sundays with the wife
