| We got into them good on Sat we ended up with 58 snows and lucky for them we were way off on our shooting or we would of got 75 easy. The CO starts on Tues and that means no plug. I am not going until next Sat but my guys will be getting after them a few more times before then. Alot of birds being killed this week with the snow one of my buddies got 115 in Maryland and another guy 95 in DE. We ended up with 2 bands and 1 cleared it with a band but we will get him on Mon morning after he gets to the pond. Here is a pic of the snows and another of the bands. the bands the birds | |

| The set up is different everytime we go out. This past saturday we went with a small rig the snow was to deep to drag full bodies into the field. We set 3 dozen Reelgeese silos and 3 dozen 5/8th GHG shells we set them where the birds were the day before. The birds need to save energy with all this snow so they lay down when they are not feeding so we tried to mimic them. I thought it looked good we knew the birds were definately comimg there it was the only food for miles. Snow goose hunting is all about watching and learning the birds. I can not show you or tell you how to hunt them because I am still learning myself. I have been chasing them for 20+ years and I still get taught a lesson everytime out. They are harder then anything you ever tried to hunt before. Ask anyone who hunts them they mess with your mind. But get in the tornato once and you are hooked forever then it get really EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!! | |

| I talked to my buddy he and his group shot over 1200 birds in 4 or 5 hunts. That is one for the record books. He shot 2 cases of shells himself and something like 12 cases for the group crazy!!!!! I been hunting snows for 20 years now never heard or saw that many snows killed. This is a true story as hard as it is to believe I saw the pics and its amazing. They are going to post some video on youtube soon I will post some pics as soon as he gets them to me. | |
