me and hetley both score today 5 3 2010

what a crappy day down poored all morning good thing i had hetleys blind about 9 am things slowed down i hit a few clucks and boom a group right behind me maybe 50 yrds hammered off gave it a few and again hammered then out to my left 3 jakes and my bird 20lbs 9 in beard and 1 1/8 spurs my first turkey wow was i excited i took aim he headed right for my hen deke hit a clearing stopped and BANG down he went what an awesome day even though me and steve just got done texting to each other what a crappy morning it was any way heres the pic i have

first of all i want to thank 11 pointer fred for taking me out to one of his properties today. it was great hunting with ya man. it was a real slow day with all this rain. at about 10 am we decided to pack it up and take a ride to where scottie shot his bird. took a real short walk and nothing. we decided to leave while driving down the road fred spotted a turkey in a field about to cross the rd to go onto the property we just came from. we turn around ,get changed and headed across the woods to try and cut him off. we got to the end of the property and fred spotted him in the field walking away. he hit the box call and he turned. gobbling away coming in. i only had a 10 inch hole but the benelli put him down. 11:45 . thats calling it close. what an awesome day.

I still have 14 , but she has all the way to the end. I bought her one of those one man blinds with a built in chair from Cabelas but the damn thing was broke out of the box and I still do not have to new one

Dude she was shaking when they started gobbling back. They came in to 40 yards but she is shooting a 20. Got it on film and I was wondering why the one bolted. Viewed the footage when we got home and all you can see is her barrel doing a HUGE figure 8 in the corner of the frame LMAO

thats so funny. i could see how it could happen though. those things gobble at me and gets my heart going. its got to be so awesome getting to experience the hunt with your daughter.
