| Cant say too much about the rage since I have not used them. I know a lot of guys swear by them. At 5 yards you should def be getting a pass through with a well place shot. Did you hit shoulder? I have been using the spitfire 100 gr. I know Hetley75 has been using them with success | |

| Rage broadheads are by far one of the best heads on the market right now. The problem you may have is not having enough Kinetic Energy to get a complete pass through. Rage came out with new 2 blade heads which are meant for people shooting under 70 pounds. This is funny you brought this up, because Hetley and I were just talking about this. The only other thing I could think of is if you are using them as practice first, they will get really dull. They are real sharp out of the package, but a shot or 2 for practice will dull them right out. Hope this helps you a little! | |

| i shoot the dxt also with 70 lb draw weight. i also shoot a diferent arrow though. i only had one deer i shot with them not get a pass through and thats because i made a bad shot and hit shoulder. all the rest complete pass thru. try the new ones they have out now that are made for bows with less kenetic energy. they leave a whopping hole wich is great for those shots that dont hit where your supposed to. that litle bit larger slice could hit a lung, liver and so forth. just my 2 cents, but i say try the lower kenetic energy ones | |

| I had 3 kills last year too... all with rage's
No pass thoughs.. One to the lungs.. one bad shot to the neck and one to the heart/liver..
For me the big 2'' hole was great. The negitive for me was keeping the blades together. There is nothing like having to snap one of them in as a deer is moving in position.
