| how did you all do today...
this hole we hunted was tough, it was a roost that was hunting hard the first 2 days of the season but we wanted to try it since it was 5 mins from my house.
after we set up we had three land about 200 yards from the set up...then about an hour later they took off from their swimmin hole. about 45 mins later a really young honker is flyin alone and lookin for some pals to hang with so i invited him to our party...i called and he turned around and circled once then came in...shot him at 30 yards
only got one today :-( not many flyin this morning at all! | |

| Hunted two new spots today. This am we saw one flock way over the distant tree line and heard a few other flocks. These birds were set on their daily routine and didn't even give us a look. Not many birds at all in the am. Pm hunt we hunted a public piece. All I can say is that people are sooooo inconsiderate. About an hour into our hunt two dads bring there little kids fishing and set up 10 yards from our dekes(they can clearly see us with shotguns). After about 30 min they decide to leave but then we had two boats fishing that decided to work right into our spread. Oh well. There is always next time. Public land can be tough when people have no consideration. | |

| Wow, what a drag! Last year we set up several time to only have this kid (14 and on NJH) sky blast away. Taking shots that were at 150-200 yards away. Later while packing up at the car his Dad was returning from his Beaver hunt, I really had to fight myself from telling to control his kid, I just keep my mouth shut. Later on the punk was on NJH bragging about how he wrecked our hunt. Public hunting is tuff.. | |

| goes to show that he has noone to support and show him the ropes. seems lke the kids father just drops him off to get him out of his hair, instead of showing him the right way to hunt. thats a shame in my eyes | |
