Sweet video BH1.....We would be lying if we said we finish every flock but we do finish a good amount. With that particular field it is very hard to hide the blinds because the harvester leaves very little behind. What are your thoughts?

| We do at times allow alot of birds to land to try and finish the other flocks flying around us. Sometimes we get huge groups to lock up and come in and other times they just keep moving on. Then we end up not getting any shots at all. Not a biggie though. We do pretty darn good! | |

| I am not questioning your hunting style if you are thinking that. I am curious we could not get away with the blinds in the open like that here in south NJ. The birds are pressured here hard. I have alot of decoys so we cover the blinds up with them and set the rest. I am not second guessing you I was just wondering. We will not even shoot at big flocks I will take singles, pairs and trips all day long. Maybe you guys should come down here and try it out. We can make room for some of you guys probably for snow goose co season. | |

| looks great john as i said this morning. thanks for putting it together.
BH1-John did have a good question for you,and I would like your input as well. I do know you put the smack down on some birds, and know what your doing. If a farmer cuts his crops way to short like you saw in the video and the birds are going there, what can we do to hide the blinds better?

| Thats a good question we hide the blinds with decoys all the time. We as a group have 25 dz FFD's so I can cover with 6 or 7 dz and still have plenty to spare. It goes from 25 to 30 yard shots hiding i the field bare down to 5 /10 yrd shots. But if you dont then take a dz deeks and put the blind 5 steps apart and use the decoys to break you up or get some silos. I really dont run traffic or really lay out hunt during the 3 bird season that much. We have spots where I can hide in blinds and old farm equipment. I only hunt corn fields in Sept. for geese the rest of the time it is pasture for us and we love to hunt them on water and hunt ducks together. That is when we kill alot of geese when we are hunting for ducks. Dont let pics fool you it is alot harder then I make it out to be. We have been doing this for a long time now and in the beginning we could not do anything right it took alot of really bad day to get to this point. We are really good now and remember all we do is waterfowl nothing else. | |

| BH1 that clip was awesome. A few of us hunted snows in SJ last year. Experiencing that funnel first hand was amazing. I tell you just when you think you got them coming in they have something else in mind. We had hundreds funneling. 40yds up, 80 yards up, 100 yds up. and so on. Very frustrating, but very cool at the same time. | |
