Thursday was Great!

Went out last night. Had a guy ride his bike past me then a river of deer started coming out. At 7:05 9 deer headed my way 2 bucks 7 does. They got to me at dark and the big buck was out front. When they came threw the tree's I drew my bow and shot. The darn smaller buck walked in front of him. Oh well bow hunting is new to me he was a 6 point and my first buck with a bow. When permit bow get's here big boy is going down. Thinking about taking a few more doe's for the feed the hungry thing. Has anyone done that? I know where I hunt the doe's are way to over populated.

By the way thanks for talking to me everyone. I don't know anyone up here my wife hates hunting and I work in corp america where everyone is to up tight to deer hunt.

congrats man. im still looking for that doe. hopefully tonight i will put one down. def. take some does . its good practice also. hunters helping the hungry is a great thing to do.

Congrats on the buck...you should post a pic of him on here. Hopefully I can get my buck this upcoming week. Hes being very sneaky

Nice Job, and I have to agree with you on two accounts. I too work in Corp (and know where your coming from) and MY wife doesn't care for hunting either. She supports me but if I come home with something it better be cleaned... I think being prior service helps my case.

Congrats on the buck! Any buck with a bow is something to be proud of. They aren't an easy animal to put on the ground. As soon as I get my first doe, the rest of the year is buck only for me. Only way I will shoot another doe is for the video! If you get a chance, post a pic of your buck Hunters helping the hungry is a great program!

Picked up my meat today. Got rack as well will get pic of it and post soon. Jerky machine starts this weekend!
