Future Plans: 4 Day Waterfowl Hunt Chesapeake

Alright so Chris and I were talking a few weeks ago and mentioned going on a 4 day "extended" weekend road trip to the Chesapeake for a guided hunt. This will prob take place next waterfowl season or the one after. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in some info. I dont have any details yet as far as price or exact location so recommendations would also be great. Anyone else interested in going?

Check out black duck outfitters I have talked to Scotty the owner seems like a good guy. I'm there the the way. What about a quick Canada trip

I am in.....i like the idea of next season....i need to know in advance so i can take the day off

boss is going out there its 1500 for 7 hunts.thats 4 days . it includes meals but not air fare. they have 2 spots open if anyone want to jump in. i dont think i will beable to make a trip to canada. i hate plains and i need to keep that kinda of money aside for expansion of my house or a bigger one. i need to get the house before i get my new truck. priorities they suck.

I dont think Canada has a lot of plains if i remember it has moutains and if we go to the chesapeake, we would not need airfare, its to short of a trip for a plane. I would not be able to do it if its $1500. I will look at some places and try and get prices too. My breeder sells dogs to a place that does hunts, i will try and look into it....maybe we can see if we can do a local guided hunt this year, i will look into prices for that as well. i am broke this year, i dont work for the state anymore. so i will see if we can get a deal.

thats why I was thinking the chesapeake. We could drive there and it should not break the bank

I am unfamilar with Canada, but I knew Johnny and his dad used to drive up there. That's more what I was thinking. I'm not sure if areas of Canada in relatively short driving distance are decent for waterfowl or not. Anyway, lets do something nearby even if it's just one hunt and a overnight or two so we can hang out.

Check out Black Duck Outfitters Eastern Shore of Maryland hunts. The operator seemed like a decent guy and I have seen some good footage from them in videos. 5 Goose Limit For there area Do guys want to goose hunt, hunt divers or sea ducks in layout boats?

I think the goose hunt would be cool.

well if you need a spot filler keep me in mind.... and i dont think a guide in new jersey is worth it with enough guys in different parts of nj we should be able to all swap out hunting together in each others spots that it would be just as good

Maryland hunt would be cool. Ducks or Geese. Maybe one day duck and one day geese? Make it a two day thing.

Yeah I think Maryland would be worth the drive. Two days with the same outfitter would be cool.
