I doubt it's out of velvet. I just think it's a pencil rack buck with tight velvet on it!

I think it's out of velvet, i took this picture sunday on a property that a guy will not let anyone hunt on. he feeds the deer from his porch. Not an activist but feels like they are his pets. This buck has been out of velvet for over a week.... sure is pretty thou

Yeah he has been feeding him and his brother since they were buttons.... both very nice deer. maybe the dry summer put them out of velvet early.... i dont know. i was suprised to see a few hard horned last week... its seems like in the past they kept the velvet another week or two.

im not surpirsed to see them out of velvet at all..

Maybe im wrong then. I just remember seeing in previous years half the bucks in velvet and half out 2 weeks into the season.
