| An absolute fun morning. got in at 5am. Woods were very still and cool. 5:45 a deer came up behid my ground blind to about 10 yards or less. It didn't know what I was. It startled and jumped a few feet and then walked off. At 6:45 had a spotty a mamma and grandma come in. they stopped at about 20 yards and the mamma snorted. They couldn't tell what I was either and just stood there. Grandma turned what I thought was broadside but it was slightly quartering toward. I let the arrow fly. she went ablout 60 yds down over the hill and done. This is the earliest I can ever remember having meat in the freezer. | |
