September 19th Report

This gonna be a quick one

Bruce met me at 530ams in columbu... We sat til 9am... AND SAW NOTHING.

I have a few details that Bri left out. He forget to mention he was on the ......Highway From Hell this morning. He was stuck on 295 because not one but the 2 closest exits were closed . That will teach ya not to read my text msg saying the exit 52 was possibly closed haha. Thanks for the invite. I had a great time.

I hunted the 18th am and pm. Am I saw nothing. I over slept as usual and got to my stand at 5:40.

In the PM I decided to hunt an area by myself and Chis and John hooked up to hunt their target big buck. About an hour after they left to get into a tree, I realized that I put my naked bow in Chris's back seat of his truck. Stupid me. I drove to brick and back to get the spare keys then back to the house to get my gear and then to a tree.

Well it paid off. I saw around 25 deer that night. As I was climbing up the tree 2 deer watched me 100 yards out. By the end of the evening I shot one deer and still had 5 or 6 at 25 yards. 2 small bucked stayed under me at 15-20 yards for the last hour of the night. There were deer coming out behind me, in front of me, to the left and right. It was amazing. John and Chris came after their hunt to help me find the deer and drag it out. Thanks for the help! It ran about 100 yards.
