| 9 times out of 10 i use buckshot. I usually hunt in some thick stuff so the buckshot works out well for me. | |

| i use both. depends where im hunting. if its open woods or fields its slug. if its thicker then 00 | |

| I also use both more open area i use slug but ill tell ya the doe i took late season with the 3 1/2 inch 00buck put the smackdown on her at 75 yrds . also full choke for me | |

| never had to much luck with buckshot, but there are times I do use 000. I had deer run off using 00, I had enough of that happening. I now use slugs 95% of the time now, if I can see him , he be on the ground. | |

| mostly use slugs but will throw some buckshot on occassion. Full choke for me. | |

| I have only killed 2 deer with the shotgun. 1 slug, 1 buckshot. Just like everyone else said.... Thick stuff=3 1/2 buckshot
